Welcome to the Chilliwack Spirit of BC Community Committee website - your community one-stop online information for sport, arts, cultural, and economic opportunities leading up to the Vancouver / Whistler 2010 Winter Olympics and Paralympics and beyond.

Established in Spring of 2004, the purpose of the Chilliwack Spirit of BC Committee is to help position Chilliwack businesses and residents to benefit from opportunities, which may arise from the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

In early April, 2005 over 100 local business people and operators attended a forum at Chilliwack City Hall to learn how they can take advantage of economic and business opportunities. In February, a flagraising and ceremony was held to acknowledge the 'five year out' mark from the 2010 Winter Olympics. More events and will be held in the coming months and years.
